When VIV Europe takes place in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 2 to 4 June, an experienced trio will be representing Landmeco at one of the world’s largest trade fairs for the poultry industry.
CEO Anders Kristian Andersen, Regional Sales Director Alex Dybdal and Poultry Specialist Tommy Krogh will all be present at the trade fair, which brings together key players from around the world in the egg, chicken and poultry production sectors.
For LANDMECO, the fair is about meeting existing customers and partners, forging new relationships and keeping abreast of developments in an industry that is growing rapidly on an international scale.
“It is a global fair for the key players in the poultry market, and that is why LANDMECO and I will, of course, be there for all three days in Utrecht,” says Anders Kristian Andersen.
He also points out that VIV Europe provides an opportunity both to follow market trends and to enter into new agreements with customers and partners.
Valuable insights
At LANDMECO, the trade fair is also seen as an important opportunity to strengthen relationships within the industry.
“The aim is both to meet with existing customers, dealers and other contacts in the industry, but of course also to make new contacts,” says Alex Dybdal.
He also highlights that the trade fair provides valuable insight into international developments in production and equipment for the poultry industry.
Networking and relationship management
Tommy Krogh also expects visits from several international customers and partners, who are using the days around the fair to meet with LANDMECO in person.
“We’re expecting guests from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Canada, among others. Many are using VIV to meet with us, among other things,” he explains.
He emphasises that networking plays a major role during the fair, both at the stand and outside the exhibition halls.
“Exhibitions like the one in Utrecht are very much about networking and maintaining relationships. And the evenings are almost as important as the hours spent at the stand when it comes to networking,” says Tommy Krogh.
VIV Europe in Utrecht is considered one of the most important international meeting places for the poultry industry.
Last time, around 20,000 visitors from 136 countries attended the fair, where nearly 600 exhibitors took part, and from this year onwards, the fair will be held every two years.
