Axel’s journey with Landmeco began in 1981 when he built his first hen house with our support. “I have had hens since 1981, and we began our collaboration with Landmeco the same year. We started with Søren Andersen, who was inspiringly knowledgeable about hens. And that was why we started with Landmeco,” Axel shared. The strong foundation laid by Søren’s expertise and guidance started a partnership that has endured for decades.
As the years passed, the collaboration evolved. After Søren’s passing, Karsten took over the reins at Landmeco and continued to drive the innovation that Axel had come to appreciate. “Karsten embraced the innovation part, being creative and inventive, and seeking new challenges. So it has been really good.”

The hens themselves thrive in the Landmeco system, an outcome Axel is especially proud of. “We can see the hens thrive in the system, which we are very happy about,” he added.
