Boredom is not something Susanne Friis experiences much of right now. As Regional Sales Director, she has overall responsibility for several European and international markets, and the level of activity is high in all of them.
“We have really made a breakthrough on many fronts, and it is a pleasure to see how our focused efforts are paying off,” says Susanne Friis, who has lived in Valencia since 2024.
Portugal: From individual projects to continuous activity
In Portugal, LANDMECO has really gained momentum, partly due to strong dealer efforts.
Previously, the market was characterised by individual projects with long breaks in between, but the picture has changed significantly.
“This means that, in addition to the egg production houses we are currently completing, we are already ready to start work on more houses. It is really a pleasure to see how the Portuguese market is mowing,” she says.
France: Long permits – large volume
France is a market where LANDMECO has been established for many years, and here the long processes of obtaining building permits are now really starting to pay off.
“In the French market, it can take between one and two years to obtain permits, but now the orders are starting to come in, and I am looking forward to a busy year,” says Susanne Friis, who expects that a double-digit number of houses will be fitted out for egg production in France.
Spain: A milestone
Susanne Friis reports an important milestone in the Spanish market. Here too, LANDMECO is fully engaged in the sale of equipment for egg production.
“It’s a bit special because it’s sold directly and not through a dealer,” explains Susanne Friis.
LANDMECO already has dealers for chicken house equipment in Spain, but not for egg production houses.
“That’s why it’s always something special when you feel that your work is bearing fruit, and you sense that LANDMECO has really gained a foothold. I am absolutely convinced that there will be more exciting projects in the Spanish market.”

Increased focus and looking to the future
There is no doubt that the markets offer great potential, which fits in very well with the strong foothold and brand that LANDMECO has built up.
“As I see it, the high level of activity will continue, and I have no doubt that we will have a really good 2026.”
