With revenue growth of 60 per cent by 2024 and a target of a 40-50 per cent increase by 2025, the need for more space naturally arises.
This is also the case for Landmeco, which is why a satisfied CEO, Anders Kristian Andersen, can report that the plans to expand in Ølgod are going as expected.
‘We have the building permit in place and are well on our way to erecting the rafters for an expansion of 1,100 square metres,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen.
The 1,100 square metres, which will be completed in Q3 2025, will contain warehousing and an additional shipping hall.
‘In terms of storage capacity, we are expanding by 15 per cent. This expansion is necessary because things are moving at full speed here in Ølgod, and overall we are following our growth strategy. I’m pleased to see that we are successfully selling our open and easily accessible Combo Plus system in more and more places worldwide. All in all, the whole business is on a roll,’ explains the CEO.
10-15 more employees by the end of 2025
As more space is created for both warehousing and shipping, more employees will also be needed.
‘The goal is to have 10-15 more employees by the end of 2025, and production, warehouse, back office and staff functions all need to be strengthened,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen, who also recognises that at Landmeco’s head office outside Ølgod, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find space for more desks.
‘It’s no secret that we’re looking for a new address for our external sales department, and it has to be somewhere in Ølgod. That way, there will be more desks available for our operations team at Haulundvej,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen.
Will be looking at 3-shifts in the production
In line with the growing interest in Landmeco’s products, the CEO has previously announced that Ølgod has expanded to two shifts on many processes.
‘We will also be looking at 3-shifts in our production lines. That said, it’s not just our production facilities that are being expanded. We’re also working to expand our collaboration with partners and subcontractors. This close collaboration will help us maintain our commitment to having the shortest delivery times in the industry,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen.
