Dealers from five countries gather at LANDMECO seminar: “It gives us ideas we can use straight away”
For two days, 15 LANDMECO dealers from Turkey, Romania, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands gathered in Denmark to learn more about LANDMECO’s products, exchange experiences and discuss opportunities and challenges in their local markets.
The seminar combined product presentations, discussions and visits to LANDMECO’s production and warehouse facilities, giving participants a closer look at both the products and the organisation behind them.
For Marten Muis from Dutch dealer Nijborg AGRI, the two-day seminar was about much more than products and presentations.
He believes the value lies in bringing people together, sharing knowledge and strengthening collaboration across markets.
“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success,” says Marten Muis.
According to him, the quote perfectly sums up the purpose and outcome of the seminar.
“The seminar has been inspiring. I came away with a lot of new ideas that I can use in my work with Dutch farmers, but just as importantly, I had the opportunity to meet the people behind LANDMECO and strengthen our relationships. When we understand each other better and share experiences, we become even better at helping our customers,” says Marten Muis, who has been a LANDMECO dealer since 2014.

Sharing experiences across markets
Rene Lohmann, Managing Director at N. Lohmann GmbH in Germany, has worked with LANDMECO products for more than two decades and was the company’s first dealer in Germany.
For him, one of the main benefits of the seminar was the opportunity to meet colleagues from other markets, exchange knowledge and get to know the people behind LANDMECO’s organisation.
“It is always nice to meet people face-to-face instead of communicating only by email. We had good discussions about product improvements, market developments and what is happening both at LANDMECO and in our different markets,” says Rene Lohmann.
He also appreciated the opportunity to learn more about products that are not currently part of his own portfolio.
“You always gain new perspectives when you hear how other dealers work and what their customers are looking for.”

A deeper understanding
For Aziz Özel from Turkish dealer Ophelia, the seminar was also his first visit to LANDMECO.
“I was impressed by the team, the production facilities and the warehouse. It helped me understand how the whole organisation works behind the scenes,” says Aziz Özel.
He believes the visit strengthened his confidence in the partnership.
“LANDMECO is a premium brand, and now I have met the organisation behind it. I learned a lot from listening to the German, Dutch and other dealers and hearing about their markets and customer needs. It was almost like a sales training course because everything was relevant and useful.”

Strengthening collaboration
Inge Nørgaard, Commercial Director, is very pleased with the participants’ feedback.
“Our goal is always to strengthen collaboration with our dealers and thereby increase our visibility and presence in the markets. The seminar provided a valuable forum for discussing how we can further strengthen our cooperation and support our mutual customers,” says Inge Nørgaard.
At the same time, it has been important for LANDMECO to give dealers an insight into the modern production facilities and new warehouse facilities.
“Our organisation has, of course, grown significantly over the last few years, so it was important for our dealers to meet the people in support, logistics and order management who handle their daily enquiries and orders. Because I am convinced that this helps to strengthen the overall support for farmers,” she explains.
It was the second seminar, focused on a common market approach and strongly emphasizing relationship-building across LANDMECO’s organization.
“There has already been demand for whether this will become a recurring event. I am really pleased with the positive feedback. For me, it proves that the concept works, and I certainly hope it is something we will repeat. For I am certain that it helps us work together even better and become an even stronger partner for our mutual customers,” says Inge Nørgaard.
