“While we have been busy expanding abroad, we have not been good enough at nurturing our local market, i.e. Denmark. We have realized and acknowledged this, and we are now changing our approach so that we can also make use of the know-how, ideas, and knowledge that exist in Danish chicken production.”
This is what Landmeco’s CEO Anders Kristian Andersen has said before, and as always, Landmeco keeps its promises.
That’s why Hans Klemmensen and Rune Thomsen have been busy visiting both existing and future customers in Denmark throughout 2025.
“It’s great to get around the country. People are open to our input and advice on optimizing their production, and that goes for both egg producers and broiler producers,” says Hans Klemmensen, who finds that many farmers are well on top of their field work.
“People have time to talk, and this clearly helps us to solve the small challenges that may have been hanging around for a while due to busy schedules. The many visits also give us at Landmeco more knowledge about what we can do better and how we can help in concrete terms,” says Hans Klemmensen.
Growing interest in Landmeco systems
While Hans Klemmensen primarily visits egg producers, Rune Thomsen often visits producers of parent stock and broilers.
“We complement each other well, and like Hans, I find that Danish farmers are really happy to have us visit,” says Rune Thomsen.
For Rune Thomsen, the visits are both follow-ups to projects with broilers that are ongoing or have just been completed.
“It’s great to see when everything works out, and that goes for both new barns and renovations. I’m also seeing growing interest in our feed systems, and it’s a pleasure that more farmers are interested in a system with the advantages that Landmeco systems offer,” says Rune Thomsen.
Always ready to drop by
Although the two already have a number of appointments in their calendars, they are always ready to visit a farmer, even those who do not have Landmeco products in their barns.
“Just give us a call, because we really want to visit as many people as possible to help where we can.Because it’s important to emphasize that for Rune and me and everyone at Landmeco, Danish producers are extremely important to us,” says Hans Klemmensen.
