It was with great pride that LANDMECO received the prestigious innovation award from Patent Nord by Zacco on the afternoon of Friday, October 30th.
The award was given based on an overall assessment of the company’s work with innovation and patenting, as well as LANDMECO’s ability to create products that are good for the animals and attractive to customers.
It was a proud team, consisting of International Sales Manager Alex Dybdal, Supply Chain Manager Anders Kristian Andersen, and Managing Director Henrik Helsinghof, who received this year’s innovation award from Patent Nord by Zacco.
The prestigious award was presented at the company’s headquarters in Ølgod by Keld Thyregod from Patent Nord by Zacco. Despite a small number of guests due to COVID-19, a small dedicated group was in attendance. Among them was Varde’s mayor, Erik Buhl, who chose to stop by and celebrate the company, which has been significant for the local community over the past 40 years.
– We are proud of SKIOLD LANDMECO, which not only puts Varde Municipality on the map of Denmark but also places Denmark on the world map. LANDMECO sets a standard for agricultural equipment that makes Denmark a leader in the agricultural sector,” says Mayor Erik Buhl and continues.
– Innovation is a prerequisite for agriculture to remain a strong industry. The award is proof that SKIOLD LANDMECO has committed itself to this work with full force.
This work has now brought recognition, and the company can call itself the winner of the Patent Nord Innovation Award 2020.
In close collaboration with the customers
At LANDMECO, in close collaboration with customers, there has been a continuous focus on creating solutions aimed at contributing to solid results for broiler producers worldwide. The business logic and mindset roughly involve creating closer contact between companies and customers already in the product development phase.
– I am very proud and honored. It means a lot to us to receive the recognition that comes with receiving this award. It greatly helps to continue the tremendous work that all the skilled people in the organization deliver every single day. “It is undoubtedly this work that is being recognized with this award,” says Henrik Helsinghof, Managing Director at LANDMECO.
Creating together, rather than trying to convince customers, has been the key when LANDMECO has developed products. Solutions that dare to engage with customers on an equal footing, which is why they have been significantly involved in the innovation process.
