We are excited to welcome Svend to Landmeco as Technical Support! Svend, 59, lives in Horne with his wife, Hanne, their five children—three sons and two daughters, and their small dog. With a solid background in electrical engineering and technical supervision, he brings valuable expertise and a great attitude to Landmeco’s growing company.
A Career Rooted in Technical Excellence
Svend has been following Landmeco’s journey for some time, and seeing the company’s growth sparked his interest in joining the team.
With a strong foundation as a trained electrician, electrical installer, and high-voltage technician, Svend has built an impressive career spanning various industries. He worked as a technical supervisor at Skiold Ikast for 15 years, followed by roles at Ølgod Bioenergi, Lind Jensen Maskinfabrik, and Din Forsyning in Esbjerg before making the move to Landmeco.
A Positive Approach to Work
Svend is eager to get hands-on with Landmeco’s components and products, diving into the details to enhance his technical support role. While he believes experience from his previous positions will be beneficial, he also highlights the importance of a positive attitude in making work enjoyable and effective.
“I hope my colleagues can feel that there’s an extra team member in the department, so we can support each other and, in turn, help our customers.”

Svend’s goal is clear: to contribute to Landmeco’s success and remain part of the journey until retirement. With a team-driven mindset and dedication to continuous learning, he is set to be a valuable addition to Landmeco’s technical support department.
Beyond Work: A Passion for Sports and Family
Svend and his wife, Hanne, have been married for 32 years. Hanne works as a funeral director in Esbjerg. While most of their children have moved out, their youngest daughter still lives at home.
Outside of work, Svend leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing golf, running half marathons, and has been deeply involved in football—both as a player and as a coach/team leader for various teams in Horne.
