Pan Feeding Kick-off 160°
The system stimulates the curiosity of the chickens and initiates a collective activation of the chickens to search for fresh feed. Experiments have shown that the chickens’ body weight when using the kick-off is up to 30 g higher than normal after the first week.
PAN FEEDING WITH KICK-OFF 160°
It’s crucial that the day-old chicks have the best possible conditions from the start. This is ensured with the kick-off feeding system, which provides centrally controlled simultaneous filling of all feed pans. Kick-off feeding is done centrally with a single action for each feed line (rotation of the feed pipe), which is extremely time-saving and minimizes the manual work typically associated with floor/paper feeding. Kick-off also allows for feeding the day-old chicks frequently with many small meals, which is extremely difficult and time-consuming if done manually. With kick-off, approximately 0.5 kg per outlet is fed. Additionally, it’s possible to combine kick-off feeding with “full overflow,” where approximately 1.3 kg per outlet is fed.
EASY-CLEAN
Easy-clean, as the only system, allows all pans on a feed line to be brought into the washing position with a single function (central rotation of the feed pipe). In this position, all outlet holes are simultaneously closed, ensuring that the pipes remain dry inside. LANDMECO’s pans do not need to be removed for cleaning. Easy-clean is extremely time-saving and minimizes the manual work typically associated with cleaning.
