The Roulleau family selected LANDMECO’s Combo multi-tier system for their new egg production venture, driven by the system’s proven performance in reducing floor eggs, optimizing system eggs, and enhancing nest searching. After visiting several farms in the Breton region that use LANDMECO systems, they were impressed by the pyramid-shaped design that promotes openness, easy access, and superior ventilation. The system’s user-friendliness and ease of maintenance were also key factors.
This marks the family’s first investment in multi-tier systems, shifting from duck farming due to declining demand. Their new facility, located in department 35 at the heart of France’s poultry industry, houses 30,000 free-range hens. Together with Sodimel, LANDMECO completed the installation of three rows of Combo multi-tier systems, with the birds being placed in the house at the end of May.
Francis Lecot, Area Sales Manager, expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing LANDMECO’s commitment to design, technology, animal welfare, and excellent service. He is confident that their partnership with Sodimel will continue to thrive, and he wishes the Roulleau family success and a strong return on their investment.
