Strong cooperation and short delivery times: Norwegian dealer and Norwegian farmers visited LANDMECO

“We have had a good working relationship with LANDMECO for many years. As a dealer, we always receive professional advice and support, and one of their greatest strengths is that they have very good and fast delivery times.” 

This is according to Asbjørn Mæland, sales consultant at Felleskjøpet Rogaland Agder, which distributes LANDMECO products in southern and western Norway. 

He also mentions the high quality of the products. 

“It makes good sense to invite my current and future customers to Denmark. It means a lot to them to see with their own eyes that the products are manufactured in Denmark and not, for example, in China. They like what they see, and at the same time they gain a greater understanding of LANDMECO’s products, which gives them greater confidence in them,” says Asbjørn Mæland. 

Everything is under control 

Asbjørn Mæland travelled to Denmark with colleagues and a number of Norwegian farmers who either have plans to expand or enter the poultry industry. The programme included a tour of LANDMECO. 

The first part of the visit took place at Haulundvej, where the Norwegians gained an insight into production. The second part was a visit to LANDMECO’s showroom, where the guests could take a closer look at the wide range of products. 

“This isn’t my first time in Ølgod. It’s always exciting and inspiring and today is no exception. It’s just different to see the products physically rather than in a brochure. At the same time, a tour of the production facilities emphasises that everything is under control,” says Asbjørn Mæland. 

The icing on the cake 

Sales coordinator Peter Buhl led the tour. For him, offering a tour where there is a good opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with visitors is a natural part of the close collaboration with Felleskjøpet Rogaland Agder – and the many other dealers. 

“We already have a close working relationship, where we are never more than a phone call away if a dealer has any questions. And we do everything we can to provide the best support from sales material to technical advice, but it’s the icing on the cake when the dealers drop by here in Ølgod. It adds something extra to be able to put a face to the names of those we may not be in contact with every week,” says Peter Buhl.
