Landmeco’s tailwind in the US market is not slowing down – quite the opposite, in fact.
Regional Sales Director Alex Dybdal, who is in charge of sales of Landmeco’s egg production systems, has just returned from one of his many trips to the other side of the Atlantic.
“We are very much a tailwind in the US. This year we have installed quite a few, and we are still in the process of delivering and installing both Combo, Combo+ and our Flat Roof systems in several US states,” says Alex Dybdal.
Landmeco has a good grip on the US market, and in addition to offering a unique product through an efficient distribution network, one of the explanations for this position is also delivery times.
“We are extremely busy, yet we are able to maintain the best and shortest delivery times on the market. And that’s something American manufacturers and dealers can utilise,” says Alex Dybdal.
Alex Dybdal’s recent trip to the US included visits to Landmeco system dealers and integrators.
“Our systems have now been approved by two more integrators, which is huge. It really opens up opportunities to deliver our systems to the farmers who supply eggs to the two integrators,” he explains.
In this context, he praises sales manager Tom Barragy, who was hired at the end of 2022.
“Tom has done an excellent job. He is the best example of how important it is to have a local man with a large network and 25 years of experience from both agriculture and the poultry industry,” says Alex Dybdal, who also says that they are working hard to ensure that Tom Barragy gets a colleague.
“The US market is so big, and with the expectations we have, we simply have to strengthen our presence in the US with another employee.”
