Landbrug & Fødevarers’ annual Poultry Congress is usually a success, and the 2026 edition at Vingstedcentret near Vejle was no exception.
LANDMECO A/S was represented by Morten Jakobsen and Rune Thomsen, who over the two days had many valuable conversations with visitors stopping by the stand.
“There’s simply a really good atmosphere in the industry right now, and that applies to farmers working with both eggs and broilers. Everyone is looking positively toward the future, which makes it a pleasure to take part in the congress,” says Rune Thomsen.
The Poultry Congress combines in-depth professional presentations, networking, exhibitions of industry solutions, and social interaction—all with a focus on raising the level of knowledge and strengthening collaboration within the Danish poultry sector.
Broader perspectives
Both Morten Jakobsen and Rune Thomsen returned home with a great deal of new knowledge after valuable discussions about daily operations and potential efficiency improvements.
“We’re filled with a lot of input and new knowledge when it comes to optimizing farmers’ production. At the same time, it’s always rewarding to gain insight into other ways of working with poultry. It provides new inspiration and broader perspectives that strengthen the advisory services we already deliver to our customers,” says Rune Thomsen.
In addition to the professional sessions, they also have concrete projects to take home and calculate.
“Even though I’ve been in the industry for many years, the Poultry Congress is always exciting to attend, and overall the two days lived up to expectations,” says Rune Thomsen.
