On January 7, 2020, LANDMECO made a significant impact at the Year-End Event for Japfa Comfeed in northern Vietnam, which brought together over 1,000 contract farmers. The event, held annually, is a key gathering for farmers working under contract farming agreements, a popular model in Vietnam where the feed mill company supplies animals and feed, and the farmers are responsible for rearing and selling the chickens back to the mill.
During the event, LANDMECO showcased its advanced poultry farming technologies, including the automatic Kick-off 330° pan feeding system and a state-of-the-art drinking system. These systems caught the attention of many farmers, as they provide significant improvements over manual feeding and drinking methods that are still common in the region.
Throughout the day, farmers had the opportunity to discuss their experiences with manual systems and learn about the efficiency, ease of use, and potential cost savings that come with adopting LANDMECO’s automatic solutions. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many farmers expressing a strong interest in transitioning to these new technologies to enhance their operations.
Japfa Comfeed, one of the leading feed mill companies in Vietnam, has a strong presence in contract farming, making it an ideal partner for introducing innovative technologies like LANDMECO’s systems. The event allowed LANDMECO to not only engage with existing customers but also to establish valuable new contacts.
Given the enthusiastic response from the farmers, LANDMECO expects a surge in demand for their automated feeding and drinking systems, signaling strong future business opportunities in northern Vietnam’s growing poultry sector.
LANDMECO looks forward to further strengthening its presence in Vietnam and continuing its collaboration with Japfa Comfeed to support the evolving needs of contract farmers.
