LANDMECO recently installed Denmark’s first Compact tier system at Hardy Eskildsen’s farm, Topæg. Since its installation in September, the system has been operating smoothly for over two months, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
The Compact system is running exceptionally well, with the animals adapting to the system and moving upward with ease. This has resulted in a very low number of floor eggs, indicating high efficiency and improved productivity.
Following this success, LANDMECO is set to expand the Compact system with new installations in Sweden, scheduled to begin in January 2014.
