After the summer holidays, LANDMECO’s first Combo floor system in France will be fully operational. Installed at Mr. and Mrs. Badol’s farm, the system will feature 3 rows of Combo with a capacity for 23,000 animals.
The Badol family, who operate their own egg-packing facility (P’tit Gone) with 180,000 layers, currently rely on cage production. As customer demand for alternative eggs grows, they have decided to transition from cage to aviary systems. The first house is set for completion by the end of August, with a second house to follow early next year.
The family chose LANDMECO’s Combo floor system for its openness, ease of control, and efficient management.
