On January 7, 2020, LANDMECO joined Japfa Comfeed Vietnam at their year-end event with over 1,000 contract farmers from northern Vietnam. In Vietnam, contract farming is very popular. While the feed mill company provides animals and feed, the farmer is responsible for rearing the chickens and selling them back to the feed mill.
At the event, LANDMECO presented farmers with the automatic bowl feeding system Kick-off 330° as well as the drinking system, and it was received with great interest. The farm owners also shared their experiences with manual feeding and drinking systems and expressed a general interest in transitioning to the new automatic farming technology.
Based on all the positive contacts received during this event, LANDMECO expects there to be many more business opportunities in northern Vietnam.
